NATURE AS THE CENTRE-POINT OF THE UNIVERSE:  A PARADIGM FOR HEALING HUMANITY, THE PLANET AND ALL OF LIFE

Editorial Avenue: No. 07, 15th April 2024

The nature vs nurture debate is one that has been present throughout a major part of human history. From within this framework, nature, in this case is a predisposition to genetics but can be overpowered through the influence of nurture or the subtle process of identification and integration to a culture, its norms, values and moral codes of living. What becomes acceptable in one social setting may then be perceived as being disruptive in another. Yet, from within this framework, what is part of nurture or the eco-social factors that shape life also present nature as being an available commodity or resource that can be exploited for human gain or from a higher perspective, the genuine improvement of life on earth. Sadly, there has been no dearth of human-to-human exploitation on earth, but we are especially alarmed by the much newer trends of the harvesting of the best of your traits, skills, and aptitudes for the sole purpose of the temporary self-gratification of another with whom you have no connection with, whether it be intentional, mental, or emotional. This has led to failing social structures built upon the premise or promise of outcomes of instant gratification that are fleeting and which need continual feeding for you to move away from a sense of emptiness. Unfortunately, gratification is but a side effect of the more powerful emotions that you constantly seek out for building self-cohesion and a continuity in your narrative of the self such as that feeling of endless awe and wonder when you experience something magical, the sense of reverence, of falling into nostalgia, of being overwhelmed with joy by the beauty of things, the beauty of your own creations or even the beauty of your interactions with others, the happiness found in a sense of belonging to one another, the profoundness found behind social connectedness with those similar to you and most important of all, the sense of fulfilment at being loved and appreciated as you are.

Nature, whether in reference to human nature or the Earth, has an intrinsic value and purpose simply by being in existence. We are all part of a functional and self-regulating eco-system where our bonding and connection to the other serves a much higher role: that of enhancing goodness. An eco-system of a balanced community experience enhances the good by creating space for human love for all of life to flourish whereas an eco-system of balance in our physical environments enhances the good by creating space for all of life to provide nourishment for humanity. One way of accessing the original blueprints of nature is by connecting to existing narratives around nature. Nature is the one stable feature of life because Nature simply exists. The mother’s instinct is a part of that narrative from nature and your first adventure into communal bonding and the forging of necessary attachment and security. The narrative of the nature of family then teaches the necessity for containment which is the creation of a properly marked mental system where you can generate a linear sense of time and space but also generational and group awareness and use this as your focal point when moving outwards into the world where you finally experience a divine truth: that of interconnectedness. There is unity in all that connects us to life despite the diversity of cultures, languages and human experiences. In a similar manner, your thought-forms, ideas, perceptions and conceptions are part of a universal consciousness but so too is human nature. Nature is then said to be an embodied experience that we all go through.

By embodiment, we mean that the more you immerse yourself in nature, the more you develop an integrated sense of what your Self represents. It is not only a part of you and a reflection of your awareness but also an expression of stewardship. Since you influence all that connects to you, you can utilise the truth of human nature for bridging the gap between yourself and the future generations that hold a similar role. In many ways, this represents the stewardship towards the earth or human’s natural tendency towards the preservation and conservation of natural resources, endangered forms of life and even cultural traditions and symbols.

Yet it wouldn’t be possible to achieve this with a fractured sense of your own self. Should you perceive your own human nature as being one that is easily influenced by greed, fear, or a coveting of others’ riches, you would fall down the reductionist point of view of what constitutes your essence as a human being. Nature, whether environmental or human is the very expression of sustainability and the rebalancing of all ecosystems. Alas, for this to occur, nature needs to be allowed to flow as it was originally conceived and intended: a model for the ever-expansion of the higher good for all.

For restoration of nature to take place, it was as such essential to bring all of nature back to a centre-point:  a gathering of minds if you wish in order to create a narrative that could connect the stories from the past with the stories from the present whilst presenting stories from the future so you may clearly envision the true possibilities of your human nature interacting with the natural world. This is the story of the birth of a mental concept known as: The Centre. Today, the Centre is a metaphysical sanctuary located on one accessible platform over the web where the nature of God and God’s Ways are omnipresent. It was necessary to create a space where nature just is, in its exact embodiment of the truth that it represents for human nature tends to embody nature. And the more humanity does this, the more it repairs, heals and upholds home, our current planet found under the stewardship of Mother Earth. Our hope as such is that you will pass through the portal of The Centre for within it, you will find the realisation of an important divine wish: to help the children of God elucidate the mystery behind their lives and find true peace, joy, and upliftment.
